Heartcode Basic Life 支持 for Healthcare Providers is a blended learning delivery method for healthcare professionals offered through the American Heart Association. Participants are trained to recognize life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR for adults, 孩子们, 和婴儿, deliver manual ventilations, and promptly use an AED. Students first complete the online portion of the Heartcode BLS course at their own pace and then complete a hands-on skills session with an American Heart Association BLS instructor at Piedmont Technical College. After completion of both the online and skills sessions, students will receive a 2-year Basic Life 支持 Provider certification.
